What is tolerance
69
We could define tolerance as the acceptance of diversity of opinion, social, ethnic, cultural and religious. It is the ability to listen and accept others, valuing the different ways of understanding and position in life, provided they do not violate the fundamental human rights ...
If tolerance is understood as respect and consideration for the difference, as a provision to admit other ways of being and acting than their own, or as an attitude of acceptance of legitimate pluralism, is clearly a virtue paramount importance.
The world dreams of tolerance since it is world, perhaps because it is an achievement which shines both by his presence and his absence. It has been said that tolerance is easy to applaud, practice hard and very difficult to explain.
There is a tolerance of one who demand their rights: Gandhi's opposition to British rule in India is not visceral but tolerant, the result of necessary caution. Tirelessly repeated in his speeches that "since that evil is only maintained by violence, it must refrain from all violence. And that "if we respond with violence, our future leaders will be formed in a school of terrorism." Does this sound this world today?. Moreover, "if we respond tit for tat, all you achieve is a country of the blind".
When should tolerate something? The generic answer is: provided that failure to do so, it is judged that the remedy be worse than the disease. It must allow a bad when you stop to think cause a greater evil or prevent the greater good. That comes in our discernment. Defending a doctrine, custom, dogma, almost always involves not tolerate noncompliance. With this concept we clearly understand that the truth always comes from the individuality and general truths only lead us to a path of confusion.
However, there are two clear evidence, that have to practice tolerance, and that not everything can be tolerated. Combining both evidence is a difficult problem.

The inclusive notion of tolerance is the relationship that grows from the friendship or the lack there of; as it is the precision in the willed correctness that one experiences in all applications of the term when applied selflessly.
This is the key to sharing tolerance in the truest sense as a friend in the family of precision and correctness based on the equality and equity of our value as a humanity...
