Channing Tatum is a talented young actor who has established himself as a rising star.

Tatum has recently appeared in Paramount Pictures' drama "Stop-Loss", the acclaimed director Kimberly Peirce ( "Boys Do not Cry") and producer Scott Rudin. Earlier this year he starred with Terrence Howard's film "Fighting", directed by Dito Montiel, and alongside Christian Bale and Johnny Depp movie "Public Enemies," by Michael Mann.

In 2006, Tatum received paths Independent Spirit Award nominations and the Gotham Award for her powerful role in the independent film "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints," which won the special jury prize for best cast and the prize for best dramatic director Sundance Festival 2006. Tatum was born in Alabama and raised in Florida. At age 23, was involved in an international Pepsi ad for director Tarsem Singh, and two famous Mountain Dew ads directed by Kinka Usher. His natural charisma and athletic physique earned him the attention of both die-hard fans of the sport as Hollywood executives. He was hired by a talent agency and began to take acting classes with Harold Guskin Dena Levy and the Acting Studio.

He plays a soldier on leave who meets a young woman (Seyfried) and falls for her. Lasse Hallström ( "The rules of the Cider House," "Chocolat") directed the adapted screenplay by Jamie Linden. The film will open in February 2010.
